SDDR-77 Firmware for Mac OSX Firmware upgrade instructions: Make sure there are no cards in the reader. Save OSX-SDDR-77.HQX file to desktop. Double click on it and it will create a folder called OSX-SDDR-77. It will also create a . OSX-SDDR-77.sit. Do not use this file. Open the folder. It will have 2 items inside FMS_503.hex and ISP OS X.app.hqx. Double click on ISP OS X.app.hqx. It will un-stuff items into the same folder. They are firmware downloader and firmware downloader.app.sit. Double click on the firmware downloader. This will open a dialog window. Highlight FMS_503.hex. Then click on open. You will get another window telling you to unplug. Unplug reader and click on finish. Plug reader back in.
